In gratitude to that whip, Callow & Son received a congratulatory letter from the royal house and signed by Admiral Sir FT Hamilon, which reads: “Mr. Callow, The whip has given great satisfaction and has been greatly admired. The princess was delighted and I think she is the most beautiful I have ever seen. The proportions were fine, and the length was correct.
