Black vintage bowler hat. The bowler hat is signed by “G.A. DUNN & Cº. LTD. LONDON. ” Dunn & Co. was founded in 1887 by George Arthur Dunn who started selling hats on the streets of Birmingham. Forty years later he had two hundred hat stores and the same number of franchises in other stores. These gradually developed into a series of High Street stores specializing in formal wear, especially flannel suits, jackets and sports jackets.
