Why do I need to register?
To participate in any auction or online sale at DHD Dorantes, it is necessary to register and accept the specific terms and conditions for online sales and online auctions.
How can I register?
You can click the “Register” button in the top right of the web. The instructions are very simple, you must enter your name, surname, email and password. Remember that to be able to buy or bid online it is not enough to have registered, you will need to fill in the rest of the mandatory information on your profile.
How to I log-in?
Click on the “LOGIN” button located at the top right of the web page. Enter your email followed by your password.
How can I modify my data?
You can modify or update your personal data by accessing your client account at DHD Dorantes, following the following steps:
- Log in to your DHD Dorantes account using your email and password
- Click on “My account” at the top right of the screen.
- Within your account, go to “My Account Details” in “My panel” section.
- Make the necessary changes and click the “Save” button.
How can I update or change my postal address?

What type of online transactions can you do at
At DHD Dorantes you can purchase in two different ways:
If it is by direct purchase, carry out the direct purchase process in our online store. A few simple steps and the product will be yours!
If it is by bid, create an account on our platform to be able to bid. It is easy and free.
Once created, you can bid on our canes, snacks, saddles, books, picnic baskets, etc.
Why can’t I bid?
In order to bid, it is mandatory to be registered at DHD Dorantes. In case you have a registered user and still cannot bid, please contact us at: info@dhddorantes.com.
How do I know when an auction is over?
By accessing the “Online Auctions” section in the top menu of the screen. You will be able to see the list of active auctions there. In this list, within the box for each auction, you will see the time remaining for the auction to end.
Can I view an auction without bidding?
Of course, if you find an item of interest that is being auctioned, we hope you will go ahead and make an offer to join the action.
Can I reduce or cancel my bid?
Each bid is binding and cannot be withdrawn. In case you want to comment on an exceptional situation, please contact us at: info@dhddorantes.com
What does the bid history show?
The bid history shows the entire record of bids that have been placed, for each lot up to that point Bidding can be tracked by date and time.
Where can I view all the bids and / or orders that I have made?
You can view all the information related to your direct purchases, bids, orders, favourite lots etc. by accessing to your account on the website. Once in your account, you will be able to see all your activity from “My account”.
What does “current bid” mean?
It is the current amount of the lot. You should place a higher bid if you want to win that lot.
How do I know that my bid has been accepted?
When you place a bid, you will receive a confirmation message. A message will be displayed indicating the problem that has occurred if the bid is not accepted.
How do I know if another user has exceeded my bid?
You will receive an email indicating that you have been outbid in the event that another user exceeds your bid. You will also be notified at the same time you place your bid if at the same time you enter your maximum bid there is already a higher one previously entered.
How do I know that my bid is the winner?
The system will notify you with a message and send you an email to confirm that your bid is the winner. You can see your bid won in the section “My bids”.
I have accidentally bid on a lot, what should I do?

Payments
I have bought or won a lot at auction; how do I pay?
The payment conditions are stated in the purchase process. All winning purchases and bids must be made through the selected payment to be considered valid.
I buy or auction a lot, will there be additional charges to the price?
All prices are final and include VAT. No commission charges of any kind are added except of shipping costs according to our conditions stated in shipping and collection options.
When will I receive the invoice?
We will send you the invoice by email once the payment has been made and according to the selected delivery and collection method.

Shipping
How can I get a lot shipped to me?
Consult our section on delivery and collection options where we explain in detail how we can send you a lot.
Can you provide me with the shipping tracking information?
In all our shipments we add the tracking code. In the event that the type or place of destination is not possible, we try to provide our client with as much information as possible about the transport agency in charge.
Can I send someone to pick up a lot?
In the event that you are not the one who collects the purchased lot or lots awarded, you must give an authorization to the person who is going to do it through an authorization document that you must send us via e-mail. Download Authorization Document.
How long do I have to collect my lot?
The lots acquired will have to be collected within 10 days from the day after they were awarded. After that date they will accrue a storage fee of €3 per day per piece.
Where do I have to go to pick up a lot that I have purchased?
All lots will be collected during our working hours at the address stated in the “Contact” section of our website unless something the lot file states otherwise.

Refunds and returns
As a buyer, you can cancel an purchase within seven days from the purchase date, only in cases where the piece does not correspond to the cataloguing or has very significant defects not indicated in the description or that cannot be seen in the pictures.
The part must be returned in the same condition and condition as it was delivered.
In any of these cases, DHD Dorantes will refund the money paid for the purchase of the object in full. Transportation costs in the collection and delivery of the piece or any other expense that is not the auction amount and VAT, will not be paid by DHD Dorantes.
Under no circumstances will any claim on the awarded lots be admitted, after 15 days from the issuance of the corresponding invoice.
The parties involved, seller-depositor and buyer, must comply with the provisions of the Spanish Heritage Law, the General Tax Law and the Spanish Intellectual Property Law.
The operations in which DHD Dorantes intervenes are subject to the provisions of Spanish Law and, more specifically, to the stipulations that regulate mediation and deposit contracts.
In case of discrepancies between the parties for reasons of the purchase or / and auction operations, the buyer and DHD Dorantes, waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them, will submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of the city of Seville.
